Although the subject of ongoing discussion about whether it should be replaced with a newer, more swanky model, Stratford Leisure Centre is perfectly serviceable as it stands. Ideally situated in the heart of the town at Bridgefoot, facilities include a 33m six-lane swimming pool (for adult and junior use), a teaching pool, a fitness studio with some 70 pieces of equipment, two dance studios, a Health Suite and sun beds, eight badminton courts in the main hall, a crèche and nursery, four all-weather pitches and even an art gallery!
