Winner of the Godiva Award for Best Cafe in 2008 and the Coventry & Warwickshire Food and Drink Award for Best Coffee House in 2009 This award-winning tea and coffee bar opens out onto the market square and serves high quality food and drink.The coffee (arguably the best in Stratford) comes from highly-regarded roastery James' Gourmet Coffee and it is prepared and served beautifully by the well-trained staff. They also know all about tea too, with at least 15 different loose-leaf options on the menu, including rare (and healthy) white teas like Pai Mu Tan. Their Warwickshire Breakfast is a speciality and all the food on the menu is locally sourced and produced. It has comfy chairs at the front and a rear courtyard where you can while away sunny summer days. It's well worth stepping away from the main tourist streets to find McKechnies.
